I am thrilled to be joining Carmen Oliver again as her TA for this incredible class on picture book craft. Previous attendees have gone on to sign with top agents with numerous book sales to their names! Class begins this Wednesday August 17th 8-10 EST and runs for 6 weeks!

Welcome! I'm Lee and I'm a writer, educator, and longtime member of the SCBWI, 12 x 12 Challenge, and Courage to Create/Verge Community. I have also been a teacher assistant with the Writing Barn, where I met my wonderful mentor, Carmen Oliver.
Writing is and always will be one of my favorite things to do, but I also can’t resist a sunny day at the beach, ice cream, puppies, pillows, funny puns, and gumballs—blue has always been my favorite flavor! I write humorous and heartfelt picture books full of creative wordplay, unique characters, and themes of social-emotional learning, friendship, and perseverance, to name a few.
