Today is the start of my forever dream come true! š š š
I took the leap after many, many years of chasing my dream of becoming a childrenās book writer. I have met many incredible artists, attended workshops throughout North America, and taken many courses and workshops to develop my craft.
I am looking forward to what the next 12 months will bring. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way (even just a quick check in: āHow is your writing going?ā) Carmen Oliver my mentor extraordinaire!

Welcome! I'm Lee and I'm a writer, educator, and longtime member of the SCBWI, 12 x 12 Challenge, and Courage to Create/Verge Community. I have also been a teacher assistant with the Writing Barn, where I met my wonderful mentor, Carmen Oliver.
Writing is and always will be one of my favorite things to do, but I also canāt resist a sunny day at the beach, ice cream, puppies, pillows, funny puns, and gumballsāblue has always been my favorite flavor! I write humorous and heartfelt picture books full of creative wordplay, unique characters, and themes of social-emotional learning, friendship, and perseverance, to name a few.
